Activities Hall of Fame Induction Night October 10!
Please join the Rockford Activities Department as they induct five new members into the
Rockford Activities Hall of Fame on Friday, October 10!
The 2014 Hall of Fame Induction Night will start at 5 pm with a social hour at the Rockford High School, followed by a short ceremony in the auditorium. The new inductees will also be announced during half-time at the football game. The public is invited to welcome this year’s Hall of Fame inductees.
This year’s inductees include graduates Mark Anderson (Class of 1997), Karlee (Simonson) Anderson (Class of 2004), and Johanna Jahn (Class of 1994) as well as former wrestling coach Gordon Schmidt and former choral advisor Rosemary Tabbut.
The Rockford Activities Hall of Fame was started in 2012 inducting four people in its inaugural year. They included Joel Miller, Kari (Bakker) Esslinger, John Klinger and Miles Johnson.

ACTIVITIES REGISTRATION PACKET 
The fall activities registration papers can be found below under the
ACTIVITIES PAPERWORK section. 
Please download, print and complete the forms and bring to the meeting.

ATHLETIC FEES 
Grades 7 & 8: 
Athletics is $90.00 per activity/Fine Arts is $50.00 per activity
Grades 9-12:  Athletics is $125.00 per activity/Fine Arts $75.00 per activity
Our district has implemented a Family Maximum fee as $ 400.00.
Parents are highly encouraged to use the PaySchool Online Payment
Processing System to pay for Activity Fees. 
This is also located on the Rockford Area Schools website just to your left.

SPORTS PHYSICALS 
Sports participants are required to have a sports physical on file with
the activities office. The sports physical must be within the last three years.  
Student-athletes cannot participate, practice, condition or play without a
current physical on file with the activities office.

SEASON PASSES 
Season passes will be available to purchase at the meeting.
Family Pass $190.00
Adult Pass $65.00
Senior Citizen in district free
Senior Citizen out of district is $25.00 
Students may purchase a yearlong pass to all activities
for just $25.00
(same as last year)

LOCKS AND LOCKERS 
Locks for sports lockers will be available for purchase at the meeting.  
Each student is required to purchase a district-provided lock to use on
their respective lockers.
The cost for the lock is $5.00. Once the lock is purchased,
the lock belongs to the student.  Replacement cost will be $5.00.

 


Voluntary Student Accident Insurance
Rockford Area Schools makes available a voluntary student accident
insurance policy that may be purchased directly from SMIC for school time accidents,
24 hour accidents, Dental, Interscholastic Sports, and Football specific.

Enrollment is done on-line at: www.k12specialmarkets.com
Additional information is available in all school offices as well.
